DISINFORMATION & BRAND SAFETY.

Many companies advertise their products and services through programmatic purchases and online auctions on websites known for spreading disinformation, conspiracy theories and/or hate speech, often without even knowing it. This can impact their brands’ image and also helps such websites to continue their operation and “trade in fear”.
In this seminar, we will briefly introduce the business models of the Czech disinformation scene and the related role of income from advertisements and we will show specific examples of serious brands that advertised on problematic websites with a subsequent impact on the brand. We will also introduce a guide containing specific steps on how your company can blacklist such websites and what role you can play in countering disinformation. There will be space for a Q&A and discussion.
